The Game of Thrones season six premieres tonight on HBO, but it’s already got some very big names on the show’s roster.
From Lena Headey as Daenerys Targaryen to Emilia Clarke as Sansa Stark to Emilio Rodriguez as Jon Snow, this year’s cast has a lot of talent.
Headeies first season, which debuted in September, had the biggest female cast of any TV series ever, with actress Lena Headesons first two seasons.
The actress recently announced that she is stepping down from the show as of May 1, and will not be returning for season six.
Emilia Clark is also on the new show, joining the cast as Cersei Lannister.
Clark, who will be the new series’ lead character, will be joined by co-star Kristian Nairn as Theon Greyjoy.
While Clarke is not the only star who is joining the show, her first season as The Night’s Watch commander will be one of the biggest shows to ever air.
The Game Of Thrones season seven premiere, “Battle of the Bastards,” will air May 16, while the series finale will air on June 13.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, headey said that she has a big role to play in this new show.
“I’m a huge fan of the show and I am really excited to be part of this world and this cast of characters,” he said.
“It is so huge, it’s just amazing.”
Emilia has previously said that while she has not been involved with the show since her first two years, she’s “very excited to play Theon.”
She added that her character is going to have a lot to do with how the show evolves over time.
“She is a young woman in a war,” she said.
