A private hairdressor salon in New Jersey has become the subject of a public records request after the owner claimed it was being sold.
The website of the Princess Diaries hares, located in the borough of Piscataway, N.J., states the salon is not for sale, but the owner has since made the website private and made no attempt to contact the company about the situation.
The owner has claimed that she is a nurse and was only trying to provide care to a patient who was a senior citizen.
“I’m not selling,” the owner, Lisa L. Gagnon, wrote in a statement to NBC New York.
“The place is being used for something else.
I would like to have it for the people that need it.”
According to the New Jersey Department of Health, there are two licensed private hares in the state: The Princess Diets in New York and the Princesses Hair Salon in New Hampshire.
The salon is located in a residential area, which is not listed on the website, according to the department.
A spokesman for the Princess Diasporas Hair Salon said he could not comment on a pending public records lawsuit.
