Parton, 74, who is recovering from a severe case of pneumonia, is back on the road promoting her latest book, “Hangovers.”
“I’m back at work with the first chapter of my new book.
It’s called ‘Hangs.'”
I’ve been able to get back into it as a full-time writer, I’m trying to make this book as entertaining as possible, and I’m also able to have more time with my family and with my daughter,” Parton said in a statement.”
We’re still in the early stages of my recovery.
I’m still trying to get through my day and get some sleep, but I’m feeling much better.
“She’s also gearing up for another appearance at a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.
Parton is the co-creator and star of the hit sitcom “Happily Ever After,” which she co-wrote with her husband, producer James Gandolfini.
She also co-stars in the upcoming ABC series “Happy Endings,” which premieres on Dec. 31.
Parton will also appear in “Hangs,” which hits stores Dec. 27.
