Jillian, 45, says she has filed a lawsuit against her former husband, former UFC heavyweight and now UFC President Donald Trump, claiming he raped her during a sexual assault and that he used the incident to blackmail her into keeping her silence.
“In my opinion, he made it his business to keep me quiet about what happened, and it was so hard for me to get justice, and I didn’t feel like I was making a good decision because I was afraid that he was going to do something horrible,” Jillian said in a statement.
“I was afraid of his reaction if I told him that I had told him what happened.
He was afraid for my safety and my career.
It is hard for a woman to talk about something like this.”
According to the suit, Jillian was assaulted by Trump in 1991, at his home in Palm Beach, Florida.
The pair allegedly had an affair and married in 1992, but broke up in 1998.
Jillian claims in the suit that she was “sexually assaulted” by Trump at his Palm Beach mansion in 1993 and that Trump then allegedly raped her, then broke up with her.
Trump’s attorney, Michael Cohen, declined to comment on the lawsuit.
The allegations came to light in a leaked 2005 recording of Trump and Jillian discussing their sex life.
Jill, a former Miss USA, had told the tape that Trump had raped her and then used her as a sex object, and that the incident made her cry and that she felt she had to keep quiet.
“And I said, ‘I’m not going to tell anybody about this.
I have a husband, I have children.
I don’t want to get in his way,'” Jillian told the recording.
“Because I was scared of what was going on, and you know, you’re trying to keep your kids out of the world.”
Trump responded by saying, “You know what I like about women?
They’re tough, believe it or not.”
“He had a very strong sexual relationship with me.
I mean, you know how much power he has over me, I mean I don ‘t know if he can control me,” Jill told the woman in the recording, who she claims is now 27.
The suit says Jillian says that she had the “opportunity to get out of it.”
“This is a case that’s been going on for over a decade,” Cohen said in the statement.
In 2005, Trump had sued Jillian in California, claiming that the pair had a “sexual relationship” that ended in a divorce.
The couple settled the suit out of court, but the judge ruled that the “sexual conduct” did not meet the legal definition of rape.
Jill was awarded $20 million in a settlement with Trump in the case.
According to a 2005 deposition of Trump in which he was asked about a possible sex tape, he replied, “I would love to have that tape, you understand that?”
A decade later, Trump was still trying to settle the suit and was finally able to settle for $20,000 in 2003, which he gave to Jillian.
Trump also filed a second lawsuit in 2005 against Jillian over her claims of rape, this time alleging that she conspired with Trump to extort money from him and to force her into a relationship with him.
The second suit was dismissed by a federal judge in 2006.
In the second lawsuit, Jill claims that Trump sexually assaulted her when she was just 17 and that after the alleged incident, Trump threatened to kill her and her family.
Jill filed for divorce in 2006, but that was overturned by the California Superior Court of Appeal.
She added: “It is time to end the lies, cover-ups and slander and the abuse that has been inflicted on these women and the families who love them. “
These women, and their loved ones, deserve the same treatment and the same respect that they deserve from anyone who seeks to treat them in any way in an abusive or predatory manner.”
“It has been a difficult and difficult road, but I have finally arrived where I want to be, where I am happy and where I feel I have achieved my full potential.” “
